5th Potters Bar Scout Group would like to invite everyone to join us for our Annual Santa Run and Christmas Tree Sale at our Group HQ at Furzefield.
We are planning to unleash a host of Santas onto the streets of Potters Bar, running, skipping, trotting (and walking!) around town in their bright red suits, spreading seasonal cheer, and raising money for charity! This year, we are again supporting Herts Young Homeless to which a proportion of the proceeds of the event will be donated.
The event will be accompanied by a Christmas Tree Sale at the Scout Hut, as well as warming refreshments – with some seasonal specialities too.
We would love you to come and join us – details on the poster (indicate where the poster is in relation to the article, e.g. opposite/below etc) – why not enter as a family and take advantage of our special family entry price!
5th Potters Bar also needs volunteers – so if you might be interested in giving something back to your community, why not come along on Saturday 7th December, and find out what we do as a group, and talk to one of our Leadership Team about volunteering opportunities?
We also welcome members who want to have fun and learn life skills from ages 8 to 15 and even up to 18 through our very close links with Potters Bar Explorers, so there are opportunities to get involved whatever your age!
