Activities @ The Watermill Join us this summer for a range of fun, craft based activities at the Watermill inspired by our exhibitions and collections. 28th July – sessions at 10.30 & 13.30 Back to the 50s Cross Stitching – Join us at the Watermill as we practise the 1950s hobby of cross stitch. To tie in with our Coronation Celebrations exhibition we’ll be cross-stitching union jack flags, on a handy key ring to take away with you. £5 per child which includes entry to The Mill & Museum. Group of 4 – £15. Adult entry to the Mill & Museum is £5 per person. 4th August – sessions at 10.30 & 13.30 Decorate a Coronation Crown Be Queen (or King) for the day! Decorate your own Coronation Crown and pose for a royal selfie. Will your crown sparkle and shimmer? £5 per child which includes entry to The Mill & Museum. Group of 4 – £15. Adult entry to the Mill & Museum is £5 per person. 11th August at 11.00 Dress up and explore a range of Victorian activities and pasttimes Come and experience what life was like for Victorian children. Dress up and explore our range of Victorian activities and pastimes, no iPads here! £7.50 per child which includes adult entry to The Mill & Museum. 18th August – sessions at 10.30 & 13.30 Make a Brooch Make a colourful brooch from felt and buttons to smarten up your outfit 50s style Have a go at making your own colourful brooch to smarten up any outfit. All materials provided. £5 per child which includes entry to The Mill & Museum. Group of 4 – £15. Adult entry to the Mill & Museum is £5 per person. 25th August – sessions at 10.30 & 13.30 Clay Flowers Make your own clay flowers or creatures inspired by the nature around us at the mill It’s time to get creative with clay! Be inspired by the gardens around us at the mill and make your own clay flowers or creatures £5 per child which includes entry to The Mill & Museum. Group of 4 – £15.
