Civic Festival Concert 2024

Elstree Mozart Players next concert the civic festival concert on the 23rd of June at 7:30 in All Saints Church Shenley Road Borehamwood.

The orchestra was founded in 2018 by Derek Holland working in partnership with Pat Strack and Andrew Grady to bring classical music to the townsfolk within Elstree and Borehamwood.

The concert, conducted by Derek Holland, will feature works by Peter Wilson Leopold Mozart bark Robert legend Leroy Anderson Roderic Elmer Chaminade, concluding with a performance of Mozart’s The Paris Symphony’.

As with many recent concerts the orchestra has presented this concert will feature soloists from within the orchestra where is Alison Perry performing the concert are for trumpet in D.

The orchestra’s leader Lucy Cumming and Principal oboist Barry Solomon performing Bac’s Concerto for Oboe and Violin.

Emma Brown they are orchestra’s principal flautist will be performing they concertina for flute and orchestra by Chaminade.

This concert is a fundraising event for All Saints Church and is part of the Civic Festival organized by Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council.
