25 of our artists will display and have their work on sale for a three day free event in the beautiful 14th century Kingsbury Barn on Branch Road St Alban AL3 4 SE.
Their work will demonstrate the wide range of styles, techniques and skills and the artists will be able to explain the processes and practice behind each piece.
Commission from sales will enable us to continue our partnership with Chiltern Open Air Museum , where we offer hands on clay experience to children during their school holidays, and where members can build and fire a range of raku, wood fired , sawdust and mud kilns. You will learn about our work with the public in community projects and our regular monthly demonstrations from expert national and internationally renowned potters. Join us to find out more about our annual Potters open day at Trestle theatre where television personalities from the Great pottery Throwdown share their stories and expertise , as well as having their work on sale.
