Local artist Pip Mole has choreographed her first solo art exhibition at The Chapel, Highfield Oval, Harpenden. The show ‘Dancing In The Garden’, is a ballroom of canvases representing movement inspired by the garden.
The show runs from 2nd to the 5th October and is open from 10.30. to 4pm Wednesday, Friday & Saturday and Thursday 10.30- 1.30pm.
The expression of movement has always been a core element of Pip’s life, from dancing and choreographing to bobsleighing and hurdling. Her paintings represent a felt sense of motion both from her personal experience and the imagined experience of objects, plants, or animals. Fascinated about how movement fills a space, she depicts the kinaesthetic sense of different environments in her mixed media abstract pieces.
