Synopsis

This powerful play explores the impact of social media on teenage identity and relationships. It follows a group of high school girls who navigate the complexities of popularity politics, self-image and societal expectations surrounded by online pressures.

An explicit photo of Scarlett is shared, and shared again widely, igniting a cascade of events that forces the teenagers to confront their own biases, insecurities and the harsh realities of digital culture. Issues of body image, privacy, and the quest for acceptance highlight the pressures young people face in the age of constant image polishing and the fragility of one’s own online reputation.
