There’s a concert happening tonight, Wednesday 15 March, in St Albans Cathedral which is a Joint Schools’ Choral Society Concert – an event with St Albans School and St Albans High School.
The concert is in the magnificent surroundings of the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban tonight at 7.30pm. It will feature six piano soloists from both schools performing Mozart’s Concerto For Two Pianos K.365, along with Britten’s breezy, tuneful cantata St Nicolas and a rare opportunity to hear Beethoven’s tender Elegaic Song.
The choir and orchestra are drawn from students, parents, staff and friends of the two schools, and will number over 150 musicians in total.
Tickets for this event can be purchased via the St Albans Cathedral website and start at £5, with concessions available.

This is a wonderful event for the local St Albans community, particularly those who enjoy classical music, and it would be great to welcome as many people from the local community there to enjoy the performances!
