The Living Room is thrilled to announce the upcoming production of Shakespeare’s classic play, “Measure for Measure,” generously hosted by Abbey Theatre St Albans.
“Measure for Measure” is one of Shakespeare’s lesser-known but most powerful plays, exploring themes of justice, morality, and power. The play, adapted for a modern audience by Derek Coe, will feature the talented cast of The Company of Ten, St Albans’ oldest and most prestigious theatrical group.
The Living Room is a Hertfordshire-based charity that provides support and resources for individuals and families affected by addiction and mental health issues. The organisation has been a vital resource for many in the community, and the proceeds from the play will go towards breaking the cycle of addiction in St Albans.
The show will run on the 26th of January from 7:30 pm at the Abbey Theatre St Albans, and tickets are now on sale, with all proceeds going to The Living Room.
