Stay Warm and Save Money: How to reduce your energy use from quick fixes to eco-renovation
Join us to find out how to reduce your energy use – from quick fixes to eco-renovation. The practical and environmental considerations of upgrading the efficiency of your home will be examined including the choice of materials and installations. The evening will include talks by guest speaker and local author Judith Leary-Joyce, q&a sessions and discussion. You can also find out more about the Sustainable St Albans thermal imaging camera project from volunteers at the event.
Our guest speaker is local author Judith Leary-Joyce. Judith has written the book “Beginner’s Guide to Eco Renovation” and free booklet “Stay Warm for Less”
You can find out more about Judith’s book and download the booklet “Stay Warm for Less” her website https://ecorenovationhome.com.
The book “Beginner’s Guide to Eco Renovation” is available from bookshops (£7.99) or from Judith at the event (£5 cash). Judith is donating all of the author payments from the book to Friends of the Earth.
