The BIG St Albans Model Show is back at Townsend School in St.Albans for 2022 after a three year absence! Over the 24th and 25th of September you can experience the largest model show in the South East of the UK, brought to you by the St Albans & District Model Engineering Society. Come and have a go with our radio controlled boats, take a steam train ride, see big Tamiya radio controlled trucks in action, make a model aeroplane to fly or a boat to sail in our pond, drive our yellow electric ride-on train. See a 1/6 scale radio controlled WW2 Tiger tank. You can also see drones, hot air balloons, model steam locomotives, traction engines, Meccano models, model railways and many other models. Light refreshments will be available including tea, coffee, squash, crisps, sandwiches etc. FREE PARKING.
