The St Albans Branch of the Locomotive Club of Great Britain (LCGB) present two railway talks: ‘Bricket Wood Station Restoration Project’ and ‘The Abbey Line and the Community Rail Partnership’.  The first talk is presented by Mr David Horton and will look at the restoration of the station building at Bricket Wood Station on the Watford Junction to St Albans Abbey railway line from its previously derelict condition to its present use as a tea room and restaurant. The second talk will be given by Mr Sandy Walkington and examines the role of the Community Rail Partnership and its role in bringing together the Watford Junction- St Albans Abbey Branch line and the local community.
