Listen again to Tuesday’s Mix Mornings special, where Elly features a recent interview with Jonathan Ash-Edwards, Hertfordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.  Jonathan talks about what a PCC does, and how he got the role.  Given the oversight he has of the Hertfordshire Police Force, Jonathan talks about the priorities he has set for his term and a specific initiative that he is passionate about, tackling violence against women and girls.  In addition to his Hertfordshire role, he talks about his national responsibilities as a PCC.  Wow, it sounds exhausting doesn’t it – so of course we get to hear that although he finds it really rewarding, just how he switches off!
