We were joined on Mix Mornings by local author Gabrielle O’Donovan to tell us the incredible story of her  battle with HMRC  over many years, after they wrongly implicated her in a cigarette smuggling operation.  She tells of her shock and confusion, the intimidation  and humiliation she was subjected to as the nightmare of the  HMRC campaign unfolded around her.

She joined Steve Simpson on Mix Morning’s on Friday to explain how whe hopes telling the shocking story in her new book Gino’s Contraband will prevent this situation happening to others.
