Elly chats to The Lord Lieutenant (pronounced Left tenant in the UK) of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE, CstJ  to find out more about him and the role of the lieutenancy of Hertfordshire.  A fascinating insight into Robert and his 56 deputy lieutenants, we find out about what they do, their interaction with royalty (when visiting our county) and the huge amount of local charities that Robert is either a patron, ambassador or president of.  Plus the uniform (it’s very dapper!) and we hear the word Robert’s wife is trying to teach him … He’s a very busy man!
