Did you know that the biggest Scottish gathering outside of Scotland is on our doorstep?  The Highland Gathering 2025 takes place in Harpenden on 13th July.  Organised by the Harpenden Lions, this is a fun, family oriented, Scottish themed day out for everyone in addition to raising money for local charities.  Think bagpipes, tossing the caber and haggis hurling as a starter for 10 of things happening throughout the day.

James Penn, current Lions President, came into the Mix studio to talk to Elly about the day and the history behind it.
