Meet Tokyo, the cockapoo therapy dog..

Mix Mornings with Elly O'Meara


Elly went to The Alban Manor Nursing Home to meet the team and their live in therapy dog, Tokyo. She finds out from Matron Delia about why having a dog around the place is so good for everyone there (residents, staff & visitors!) and the joy that Tokyo brings.  Elly also chats to some of the team about the benefits of having Tokyo around and to one of the residents, Anne, who loves it when Tokyo pops into her room to say hello (don’t mention that sometimes Tokyo jumps on the bed!)
