Palm Sunday Processions

Sunday 2 April is Palm Sunday, when Christians recall Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. Two thousand years ago, the Bible describes a crowd waving and laying down palm leaves. Today, Christians  remember the event with crosses made from palm leaves and services in cathedrals and churches across Hertfordshire.

In Thursday’s Mix Mornings, Iain talked to the Revd Tim Vickers, vicar of St John’s church, Harpenden, about why Palm Sunday is important to Christians.
