Ahead of St David’s Day, we invited Griff Jameson, the Welsh half of St Albans folk due Elizabeth  & Jameson, to tell us about the pride he feels in his Welsh heritage and his surprising plans to celebrate St David’s day itsellf. He talks to Steve Simpson about his journey as a typical valley boy, from rural Wales to leafy St Albans, the state of Welsh rugby, and what happens when two Welshmen meet in the streets of England.

Ahead of their new album and a national tour Griff also brings us right up to date with their musical work, and shares a couple of recordings made especially for Mix 92. 6
