Tartuffe – a modern take on the French classic by the Redbourn Players.

Mix Mornings with Iain Pritchard

From Thursday 18th May to Saturday 20th May, the Redbourn Players will be performing John Donnelly’s modern-day update of the classic comedy by Moliere.

Orgon is the man who has everything. Money, power, and a beautiful family. But lately he’s been questioning the point of it all. When he invites Tartuffe into his perfect household, he unleashes a whirlwind of deception and seduction that threatens everything. With Orgon under Tartuffe’s spell, can his family outwit this charismatic trickster? Are Tartuffe’s wild claims truth or fiction? Is this mysterious stranger quite the villain he appears?

On Thursday’s Mix Mornings, Iain talked to the director and cast about the play and what the audience can expect.
