The Great Con-Junction comes to Hertfordshire celebrating 40 years of The Dark Crystal movie.

The Dark Crystal is a movie that has achieved cult movie status amongst it’s many fans due to its dark tale of fantastic creatures, the fight between good and evil, and the then state of the art animatronics of Jim Henson and Frank Oz, famously known for the Muppets of course.

Zay Mirmalek is the CEO of the company who are organising a  fabulous tribute to the movie with a convention in Hertfordshire, The Great Con-Junction,. Its an opportunity for fans to get close to cast and crew, and to celebrate the movie, which is now more than 40 years old and as popular now as ever.

She joined us on Mix Mornings to talk to Steve Simpson about the event, and how thrilled she is to have  muppets legends, Dave Goelz and Steve Whitmire in ttendance at the convention at Elstree Studios on the 8th and 9th Feb
