Podcast

Children’s poetry – a new book from a local poet.

In this week’s episode of The Parents’ Show, Lydia meets Sarah Ziman, a local poet who specialises in children’s poetry.

Sarah explains how her love of poetry came about and reads some examples of her work, which are both humorous and echoes of our own childhood. She talks about also writing about sensitive subjects such as divorce and the loss of a loved one.

Sarah’s new book, “Why did my brain make me say it”, is released on October 4th to coincide with National Poetry Day.

In the second part, Lydia talks to Bhini Phagura, Associate Solicitor from our sponsor Rayden Solicitors, about the difficult process of starting a divorce process and gives advice on the steps involved.

That’s this Thursday at 7pm on 92.6FM, online at mix926.com and on your smartspeaker.

The Parents’ Show is sponsored by Rayden Solicitors.
