For International Women’s Day, a live panel debate “Are women their own worst enemies”.

St Albans Soroptimists and  The Talent Keeper Specialists hosted a panel debate live from the Sandpit Theatre. The panel and audience discussed the question: Are Women their own worst enemy? Discussions covered themes such as: women and employability, women’s domestic labour, societal and media pressure on women and how women experience the criminal justice system.

This event was chaired by Jessica Chivers, coaching psychologist, author and CEO of The Talent Keeper Specialists and the panel featured Chandni Hanif – fashion business director, Min Rodruiguez – head of inclusion and diversity at the Law Society, Danielle Lamaire – law student and college Rep for DUACAS, Claire Harvey – Director of Culture and Inclusion at EDIT Development, Dr Laura Abbott – Senior Lecturer and Fellow of The Royal College of Midwives.

The event was organised and hosted by Dr Kathy Weston and Soroptimists St Albans.
