There is a general consensus that as a country, it is important that our children both show and interest in and passion for science, after all so much of the world’s needs are based around and even dependent on scientific discovery and solutions.
So how we are doing as a nation when it comes to teaching science and how can we as parents help children to develop a passion for this critical subject? We are joined by Dave Allen from University of Hertfordshire, Mr Bowyer from STAGS in St Albans, Diane Secker and her daughter, keen scientist, Hana Rathor and the editor of science mag for kids, AQUILA, Freya Hardy.
