Making your chocolate a force for good.

For most of us, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without chocolate. But, as with so much of what we eat, there are concerns about the sustainability and issues over human rights with the production of some chocolate.

So how to make sure that our chocolate is a force for good not bad?

In this week’s Environment Matters podcast, Nicola Brennan, Conversion Free Supply Chain Specialist at WWF, helps us with just that, and Green House Eco Hub volunteer Lee Wood reports back on the junior members of the Climate Clubs’ test of Vegan Kit Kats.

To find out how your favourite brand of chocolate rates for sustainability and human rights, take a look at the Chocolate Scorecard https://www.chocolatescorecard.com/

And to see the latest WWF Whats In Store Report showing how our food impacts the planet, the progress that is being made to reduce that impact, and what still needs to be done.
