Street play, music and dance.

Enjoying play and movement are important for children and adults, so this week Lydia speaks to Nicola Wyeth from Playing Out St Albans, a branch of Sustainable St Albans, who help local people organise traffic-free street play for you and your neighbours. She’ll be telling us how you can apply for street closures (did you know you can have 8 per year?), and how they can help you manage the whole process, including the loan of closure signs. Parents and neighbours also benefit from street play – listen in to find out how. Then Andreea talks to Naomi Czuba, a dance coach here in St Albans about why she loves dance and her approach to classes for both children and adults.
