Is it our children? Recovering from a serious illness? Or feeling ashamed of what your generation has done to the planet? What is it that has inspired people here in St.Albans to do something to help the planet?
As part of our Sustainable Stories Week during the St.Albans Sustainability Festival, Amanda Yorwerth set out to find out.
Whilst there’s anger and frustration there’s smiles and hope as well.
We hear from all sorts of people, including St.Albans resident and BBC presenter Martine Croxall who not only shares her long standing concerns about the environment but tells us some simple but effective changes that she has already made to do her bit to help the planet.
