This week The Parents’ Show talks to Olive Hickmott, Forensic Learning Coach about how mental images that highly visual children are processing on a day to day basis can have an impact on learning difficulties. We talked specifically about children with dyslexia and ADHD and how these images if managed properly can help children learn more successfully.

Coinciding with Eating Disorders week, most parents don’t want to think about their child ever having this illness but by not informing ourselves we run the risk of being caught unaware. Eating Disorder Statistics among Children Aged 13-18. Around 5.4% of children between the ages of 13 and 18 will suffer from Anorexia, Bulimia or Binge Eating disorder at some point in their lifetime. Roughly speaking, that’s more than 2.2 million adolescents. We spoke to recovery coach Hannah Brown about her experience and her advice for others.
