Talking Sport for Peace.

April 6th is the UN International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, and so this week on The Parents’ Show we speak to a sports person about how sport is a developmental aid for young people.

Paul Davis runs the Paul Davis Fencing Academy, and he tells Vivien about his academy and how they instill honour and respect in their students.

In part 2, Vivien meets Analisa from the Blue Cross about pet loss, grief, and how we can involve our children in any decisions regarding our pet’s conditions and possible loss. With a free and confidential helpline, webchat, email and Facebook group, you can find support when and where you need it.

Please note this interview contains discussions of sensitive issues and grief, listener discretion is advised.

That’s this Sunday at 8pm and next Thursday at 7pm on 92.6FM, DAB+, online at mix926.com and on your smart speaker.

The Parents’ Show is sponsored by Rayden Solicitors.
