In this week’s show we spoke about the possible implications of Brexit on family law in the UK.

There are changes happening in the UK that potentially affect children living in Britain who have parents from within the EU and the UK. What exactly is ‘settled status’ and who fits the criteria? To help parents understand what will or might happen in March 2019 we invited two family law experts – Estelle Lear, Family Law Barrister, Tanfield Chambers in London and Mary Mc Evoy, Family law partner, Neves Solicitors in Harpenden to help us understand where parents stand legally and how that might change after March 2019. We will also speak to a couple of local parents who are from mixed EU/UK marriages about how this might affect them.

We also spoke to Claire Healy from Raring2go about summer activities for children in the St Albans Harpenden area.
