As the newly appointed Head of a prestigious independent school, Kathryn Gorman found herself facing the biggest educational challenge in her career within weeks of her appointment. She and her team found themselves deploying a generation’s worth of change to it’s technology and established curriculum in an incredibly short period of time, in order to preserve the school’s teaching capability, and sustain its community during the first Coronavirus lockdown.
Kathryn joined us on The Parents Show, here at Radio Verulam, to explain how the school overcame these challenges, and illustrate how Abbot’s Hill school has continued to thrive and develop in the aftermath.
