This week on The Parents’ Show we’re talking night nannies, The Celtic New Year and vulnerability in neurodivergent people..

In the first part of our show this week, Jen Cockburn catches up with Hannah Maxwell from Night Nannies about the services they offer and how they can help new parents get a better and refreshing night’s sleep and rest. Hannah will explain how the service works, what you can expect from a Night Nanny and how the relationships formed carry on past into later life.

In part 2, if you’re looking for something to do with the kids during half-term, you could step back in time with a visit to the Celtic Harmony Camp to see how the ancient tribe celebrated the start of the Celtic New Year.

They’re gearing up for their biggest family event of the year – the Samhain (pronounced “Sow-Wayne”) celebrations.

The celebrations are happening between 27th – 31st October at the Camp’s location near Hertford – it’s a family day out with activities like the Spooky Woodland Quest, Celtic Drumming, a Fire Procession and even a (wooden) Burning Man! Mix Morning’s Iain Pritchard spoke to Sarah from Celtic Harmony Camp to find out more.

Finally this week, Lydia El-Khouri is joined by our neurodivergence expert Karen Hannan, who talks about how neurodivergent people can be very vulnerable and susceptible to coercion as they often don’t pick up the signs that others would.

That’s this Thursday at 7pm on 92.6FM, online at mix926.com and on your smartspeaker.

The Parents’ Show is sponsored by Rayden Solicitors.
