How to be a good monarch – timely lessons for a new king…!

Tracy Borman is a royal historian, best-selling author, broadcaster, and Joint Chief Curator for Historic Royal Palaces. Later this month, Tracy’s first ever theatre tour – How To Be A Good Monarch – 1000 Years of Kings & Queens – comes to the Eric Morecambe Centre in Harpenden – just for the one night – on Wednesday 26th April but then continues on to Bishops Stortford next month and then to other venues around the UK.

Perfectly timed to coincide with the coronation of a new monarch approaching, the colourful show takes us from William the Conqueror to Charles lll, with tumultuous tales of the good, the bad, the great and the mad, along with birth, romance, beheading, coronation, abdication, marriage, divorce, disaster, and triumph. Everything you need to know if you’re just starting your new job as king!

You can hear Tracy talking about the show – and about some of the fascinating background details on Monday’s Mix Mornings with Elly.
