One of St Albans best known rock bands, King Violet are the guests on Mix Mornings this Friday. Described as an alternative rock band dressed up with pop, sass and mystery, Mai and Claudia will be dropping into the studios to talk about their music, and play a few acoustic tracks live in the studio, exclusively for our listeners. Join us after 11:00 am to hear how this highly regarded St Albans based band sound live in our Trestle studios.
Also we will be joined by sisters Kim Ansell and Lisa Read from the company Inky Flamingo who have between them written and illustrated a delightful new children’s book – Frederick the Fox. They will share with us how they came to produce this charming book together.
And as if that wasn’t enough for one show, we will be joined by Emma Smith the driving force behind The Alban Connection, a collaboration of locallys based musicians, who have just released their Album, Hope, to raise money for homelessness charities in St Albans. There may be a few musical surprises along the way as well.
