Environment Matters with Amanda Yorwerth

The fashion industry has a huge, and ever worsening impact on the environment. So wouldn’t it be great if, right from the outset, fashion designers and those in the fashion industry were aware of the issues and already had the knowledge and experience that they needed to do things differently?

Well, that’s exactly what’s happening at Oaklands college in St Albans.

In this week’s Environment Matters, Amanda Yorwerth speaks to Katie Carr of local sustainable fashion brand, Tommie and Lottie, Natalie Sturman, teacher at Oaklands College and Fashion Business students Hannah, Ruby and Grace about their forthcoming Vote for Nature fashion event and the learning journey they’ve been on.
