New Memory Cafe opening in Radlett.

Mix Mornings with Elly O'Meara

After the success of a memory café set up in St Albans by Nick Harrall of Home Instead, Nick decided to set up another one in Radlett.  Working with Rabbi Paul Freedman of the Radlett Reform Synagogue and the Reverend Ollie Blease of Christ Church & St Johns in Radlett, Nick has the new memory café underway ready for it’s opening on 2nd July .  Nick chats about the services that Home Instead provide, why isolation is a big problem in our county and what’s great about the memory café concept.  Paul and Ollie talk about their friendship, the joint work they have done in the community and how it made sense when Nick approached them about it, to use both of their spaces to host the Radlett Memory Café.
