The Local Football Show have a vacancy for a new presenter of this highly popular show.
The successful candidate will present the weekly show.
This will involve writing and recording the show links. Plus conducting a weekly 15 minute interview with a member of the Local Football Show community.
This role will take a minimum of 1 hour per week. There will be additional opportunities for match reporting and commentary duties.
The Local Football Show is broadcast every Tuesday at 7pm on 92.6FM Radio Verulam and around the world on www.radioverulam.com
It provides a voice for the Local Football Community. Covering St Albans City Youth, Colney Heath FC, Harpenden Town, London Colney FC, Leverstock Green, Belstone FC, Sandridge Rovers, City Youth, Harvesters and lots more.
Start date January 2022.
Typical time needed : 1 or 2 hours most weeks
Essential skills :
Essential Requirements
- A team player to work alongside the producer and other team members.
- Enthusiasm for radio and communication.
- Good IT skills and the ability to use and record using Zoom, Audacity and Dropbox.
Ideally you’d have these skills but we can train you :
'- An avid interest and knowledge of the St Albans Local Football Community
- A natural ability to talk to and interview people.
