In this special edition of ‘So What?’ Andy and Elly talk about a very difficult topic – the death of a family member. On a recent trip to Plymouth, Andy’s mum died after a period of illness. Talking about it helped, but it also made him realise that people really do need to discuss their wishes if they are able to do so, so those having to make the arrangements can be sure they are making the best decisions at a very difficult time. But it’s not all misery; Elly shares some humorous stories arranging her sister’s funeral 15 years ago, and some lovely memories.
