Back at the start of the summer, 8 year old Grace Gaskin was the inspiration behind The Saturday Pickers, who’ve spent an hour a week cleaning up the New Greens Area of St Albans.
But what started as just litter picking has proved to have more going for it than just tidy streets.

You can join Saturday Pickers by simply turning up at Christ Church at 8am on a Saturday. Gloves, bags, a hoop and a litter picker will be provided.
