What is Paediatric Occupational Therapy? Find out this week and also get some handy cooking tips for your kids and yourself.

This week, we’re joined in the studio by Sian Wilson, a Paediatric Occupational Therapist based in St Albans at Milestones OT, who tells Lydia and Neil what she does and how it helps children, specialising in helping children and young people aged 4-18 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Co-ordination Disorder with sensory integration, cognitive therapy, handwriting and life skills. Sian also offers training and consultation to parents and professionals in the community, schools and homes.

In the second half of the show, Danielle Durrant from The Cobbled Kitchen talks to Lydia and Neil about how to help children learn to cook and gives us all some really handy tips for making cost-effective meals on a budget. Danielle also gives some ideas for storecupboard essentials.

That’s this Thursday at 7pm on 92.6FM, online at mix926.com and on your smartspeaker.

The Parents’ Show is sponsored by Rayden Solicitors.
