NHS pressures.

We know that the NHS is under exceptional pressure this Winter.  We can all help by taking some simple steps to reduce pressure on doctors, nurses and paramedics.  We’ve teamed up with local health services to let you know what you can do.

Hertfordshire Director of Public Health, Jim McManus recommends that if we have health problems that aren’t really urgent, we should use our pharmacist first or visit NHS 111 online or call 111 first before our GP.  We shouldn’t use 999 unless there is a life threatening situation, and don’t go to A and E unless the situation is life threatening
