This October, take the opportunity to play, learn and enjoy Bharatanatyam with esteemed artist Divya Kasturi. This is ahead of DKC’s new production, Irattai, being performed at Trestle on 9 November 2025.

Join renowned artist Divya Kasturi for a joyful two-hour workshop where 5–8 year olds encounter the vibrant world of Bharatanatyam. Through movement, music, and story, children will explore this classical Indian dance in a playful and welcoming space.
Who: For 5- 8 year olds

Acclaimed artist Divya Kasturi leads a dynamic three-hour workshop where 9–12 year olds explore the rich tradition of Bharatanatyam. Through rhythm, expression, and storytelling, they’ll discover new ways to move, connect, and create.

Distinguished artist Divya Kasturi hosts an inspiring three-hour workshop where 13–18 year olds expand their understanding of Bharatanatyam. Through technique, creativity, and expressive depth, they’ll push boundaries and grow as young artists.
Who: For 13-18 year olds
Price: £40 +opportunity to perform in the curtain raiser (one free ticket included).
When: Thursday 30 October | 9-12pm (Dance Studio)
Experience
Divya welcomes you to an enlightening workshop; to expand your connection with Bharatanatyam. Rooted in tradition, guided by experience, this session explores movement, expression and a chance for deeper connection to your practice and creativity.
Who: For Adults aged 18+ (For dancers with some prior experience of Bharatanatyam)
