Join us for a wonderful evening of choral music. We are delighted to bring you our first concert of the new year, conducted by our new Music Director, Sam Huston. Gabriel Faure’s most widely performed and best known large work, Requiem, which, in his own words is described as, ‘... a happy deliverance, an aspiration towards happiness above, rather than as a painful experience’, is the focus of our programme, accompanied by his ‘youthful’ Cantique de Jean Racine, an award winning composition dedicated to Cesar Franck, and also featuring works by Vierne, Saint Saens, Widor and Durufle.
