The start of the football season wouldn’t normally be something to cover on Environment Matters, but Watford Football club are going the extra green mile to help Watford Borough Council increase the number of trees in the borough. In this week’s show, 7pm Wednesday, Watford Borough Councillor Ian Stotesbury and Kevin Newman,  Head of Retail at Watford FC join Amanda Yorwerth to explain what the football club is doing and how Watford is succeeding in its mission to increase tree cover for people and the planet.
